My result in the 14th edition of BHPetrol Orange Run 2019

This is my first time taking part in the BHPetrol Orange Run 2019 held on 3rd November at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. By just paying a mere RM5 registration fee (no T-shirt and medals), it is worthwhile to part in this run. All participants are divided into 8 categories and the men/boy category will be flag off first at 7:00am sharp followed by the women/girl category at 7:15am sharp.

The entire run was well organised with the policemen manning the traffic and there are 3 water stations at every 3km intervals. After running for 5km, my legs are starting to feel tired and lack of pace had resulted in splits to exceed the 6 minutes mark per kilometer. Overall, it was a good race for myself as my average pace per km is 05 minutes 54 seconds.

Once I reach the finish line, all runners are entitle to receive a goodie bag and were treated to a wide range of food and beverage trucks. I will definitely be back to take part next year. Thank you BHPetrol for a race that was well organised.
